JV with the Devil
Why not? You get a hell of a payout!
You cannot serve God and Mammon
Q: Who said it?
A: You got it! Jesus said it. (in Matthew 6:24)
Q: What is Mammon?
A: Money
Now hang on, isn t it money obtained through immoral means or money that s stolen from people who needed it ?
Nope. It s just plain money - not the filthy stinking kind or the born-into-it kind or the I-got-lucky kind or any other particular version of it. It s just money - plain money - and Jesus said that you CAN NOT serve it, if you want to serve God.
And did you notice that other words I capitalized there - they are the words CAN NOT.
Let s spell them out again, just in case anybody missed them. C-A-N-N-O-T.
OK. Maybe it s not the spelling that s the problem. Maybe it s the meaning of the words can and not that throws people. I don t know. What I do know is that there are plenty of people out there saying that we should not serve both God and money - ie. that it s a very bad idea to try to serve both masters. Jesus didn t say it was a bad idea. He just said that it was not possible.
Okay. What do you think on the report till here? I’m dead sure it enhanced your perception.
The prolific information on internet marketing is also being given by us. Towards the terminating paragraph, don’t have a short memory to find the contents on internet marketing.
It s not that serving money is a bad idea. If all you want to do with your life is to make money, I suppose it s a great idea. It s only a terrible idea if you were thinking of serving God, because it s not possible to do both.
You cannot serve two masters Jesus says. Either you ll end up hating one and loving the other, or you ll end up devoted to one and despising the other . Either way it adds up to the same thing. You cannot serve both of these guys. It s just not possible - no sir, not at all, no way!
Now can we be clear about this, please? Good. Because I m getting sick of hearing all my peers in the Internet Marketing world telling me that I ve got to focus my mind on money if I want to make money, and think about money in order to attract money.
I keep getting told, as a man thinketh, so he is . I suspect that s true. Indeed, let s take it one step further: as a man thinketh, so he serves .
Think about money, make money - maybe that is the way it works. The other side of the equation though has to be, think about money, serve money . And I get the feeling that there are a lot of good people out there who are being suckered into this way of thinking who actually started out wanting to serve the other master!
So what s the alternative? Make no money? Give away Internet Marketing? Turn off the computer and concentrate on your relationships? Well, it wouldn t hurt if a lot more of us did that, but I don t think it s the only alternative.
Think service - that s the alternative. Think about the Kingdom of God and what you can do for others.
Now that s a novel approach! Well, actually it s not that novel, as I notice that some of the best marketers on the NET focus on exactly that - quality of service to their customers - and their businesses seem to be doing just fine too.
So is that all there is to it? Just focus on service and everything else will fall into place?
No. Of course not. Conducting your business with integrity is tough work. Temptations to JV with the evil guy are there at every turn. If you re an Internet Marketer, you re immersed in a culture that pulsates with false promises, deadlines that don t really exist, vastly exaggerated claims and straight out lies. You gotta watch your step.
But the starting point is the most important point. Jesus said, Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all the rest will fall into place . It s a rough translation of Matthew 6:33, but it captures the essence. If you truly have your focus on the Kingdom, I do believe that the rest will follow.
And let me give you one other word from Jesus (from that same sermon in Matthew 6) that will help to keep you on track. It s one of my favourite verses and one of the most penetrating words Jesus ever gave us.
Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also .
Did you get that? Where you re treasure is - that s where your heart is!
Again, this is not advice, any more than the statement about the two masters was advice. It s a straightforward statement of fact. Your heart will always be found alongside your treasure!
The great power of these words is that they give us a sort of litmus test for spiritual integrity - not just in online marketing, but in all of life.
You see, we normally think that it s what we say that indicates where their heart is! We are obviously spiritual people if we say spiritual things. Our words indicate where our heart is.
Goodness gracious. Be certain that your lookout would go further this point. Your further curiosity in this ballyhoo would be an added leverage for you.
No! Jesus says, I ll give you a better test. Show me where your treasure is. That s where your heart is!
Do you want to know where someone s heart lies? Take a look at their tax return! Do you want to know where your heart is? Take another look at your bank account!
Goodness gracious. Just debar yourself from the other vernacular hierarchy of facts as this article is among the best of the bests. Get additional benefits by scanning further.
This is the only sure-fire test for spiritual integrity that Jesus ever gave us. Do you want to know where a person s heart is? Have a look at where they ve stored their treasure .
I won t bother spelling this out in any more detail. I m sure you can think it through for yourself. Think about your great spiritual role models. Where did Mother Theresa have her treasure invested? Think about the people you most admire. Where have they invested their treasure?
Of course it s quite possible that the people you most admire are fat millionaires who live in plush surroundings and don t think about anybody beyond themselves and their families. OK. There s nothing I can do about that, but please do me the favour of being honest about one thing: you are serving the other master!

Arrogant Overture Placing Greed Ahead Of Their Customers Needs
Is there something so exclusive in regards to christian marketing? What are our thoughts on christian marketing?
Just glance over it to assimilate it. We desire you to go through the write-up and get an understanding of internet marketing.
According to the dictionary, the definition of the
word “overture” is as follows:
“An opening or initiating move toward negotiations, a new
relationship, an agreement, etc.; a formal or informal
proposal or offer.”
Hmmmmmmmm…very interesting definition–especially that
part about “a new relationship.”
I think pay-per-click giant Overture should look up the
definition of their own company name, because they appear to
be breaching their “relationship” with their customers big
time!
Here are the most common complaints:
* Suspicions that competitors are clicking on their listings
just to cost them money.
* Competitors bidding up the top three positions to
ridiculous amounts, ensuring that everyone loses money.
* Fear of new, naive competitors coming onto the scene ready
to throw away their money and driving up Overture’s
exorbitant bids even higher.
* Wild fluctuations in bids. The top bid can double or even
triple within just a few days.
Well. This report is planned at catering all the readers of christian marketing. I believe it met your demands till here.
We have several write-ups on internet marketing which you may read over. We promise you that the stuff could be accessible at the finish.
* The slow, frustrating, and time intensive process of
maintaining listings and changing bids.
* Poor, arrogant and unsympathetic customer service and
support.
So, why hasn’t Overture done anything about the complaints?
Because, and I’m going to as blunt as I possibly can here–
they don’t care about you. They only care about your money!
Arrogance and greed seems to be the common thread that bonds
the major search engines.
But you have only yourselves to blame. That’s exactly what
happens when you “place all of your eggs into one arrogant
search engine basket!”
Though this is one of the best articles, I’m bit doubtful about its utility for everyone.
Many of the persons were aided by this article. Some of the individuals didn’t find it praiseworthy.
You can evaluate the material in the best possible method. Be ready to finish and assimilate the information of this write-up.
When you’re totally dependent on someone and they know
you’re totally dependent on them, more often than not,
they’ll put the screws to you. That’s exactly what you see
happening with Google, Yahoo and Overture. They’re screwing
you over big time!
I received some very interesting e-mails in response to my
article, “Googles Trap, DMOZ’s Nap, And Yahoo!’s Crap.” The
writer of one of the e-mails wanted to know if I was afraid
of being penalized by the search engines, because of my
criticism’s of them.
All right. Just keep away yourself from the other vernacular hierarchy of info as this report is among the best of the bests. You could be regular in order to have the class of this piece of article. So, continue reading.
Penalize me how? How can you penalize someone who neither
benefits from nor is dependent on your service? I don’t
depend on the search engines! I don’t benefit from them! I
never have. I get almost no traffic from the search engines.
For example, so far this morning I’ve received over 300
unique visits to my website. Out of that total, none came
from the search engines–not a single one!
My traffic comes from the dozens of articles I’ve written,
like this one that have been picked up and published on
popular websites all over the Internet. I also get traffic
via word of mouth, newsletters and ezines that my articles
are published in, and a few other secret methods that I use.
That’s the kind independence and power you give yourself,
when you’re not totally dependent on any one entity. Find
alternative ways to attract traffic to your website. Here
are a few suggestions:
Ezines, newsletters, forums, online magazines,
sponsor listings on other websites, exchanging links.
Here are a few offline suggestions:
Magazines, direct mail, shopper newspapers, cable
television, radio, flyers, hospital newsletters, card decks,
trade journals and directories, bulletin boards, tabloid
newspapers.
Here’s what the writer of another e-mail I received had to
say:
“Wow! What a pleasure to read your article, Googles Trap,
DMOZ’s Nap, And Yahoo!’s Crap. Boy, I’ve been complaining
about this type of scenario for at least a year. I will also
include Overture with the terrible trio. Overture has
recently, with the long standing pay per click program,
decided that all your keyword phrases will be broad
matched. The reason they gave was that it was too time
consuming for the user to manage their listings. Well, they
forgot to mention that they will also receive more money
because of the change.
Also, they say that you can enter words in quotations or
negative words against your keyword phrase so that you
receive the correct response. In other words, your keyword
phrase will not show up when those negative words are
searched for. Well, do you know how time consuming the
negative word process is? And, there’s no way you can
muster up all of the possible negative words that could be
searched for so that your listing will not appear. Absolute
CRAP, to term your expression.
The terrible trio you mention in your article plus Overture
have gradually swung towards “God” like service providers.
They have the power and the user is very much at effect.
Well, that’s my 5 cents worth. After saying all of the
above I am a user of these services but have been working
for a long time now finding other ways and means of
marketing and promotion so that all of our eggs are not in
the one basket. I have, in the main, been exchanging links
withother websites plus placing relatively inexpensive ads
on websites that have similar services to ours.”
I love getting e-mails like that! That tells me that some of
you are finally starting to “get it.”
Give yourself the power! Claim your independence! Find
alternative ways to attract traffic to your website. If you
do that, one day you’ll realize you really don’t need the
search engines after all. I guarantee it!

The Affiliate Interview - Do you have what it takes?
by: Marc Howlett
So you have decided to start up your own home business and after hours of searching you have decided on the program you are going to join.
Now stop and take check before you rush in.
Yes there are thousands of people running their own home business and yes they are making money from them.
What you need to stop and consider is that you will be running you own business and what does any business need to make money? You may come up with several answers but let me tell you from experience the key resource to any successful business is its employees.
You can have the best product or service in the world but if your employees are not up to scratch then you will not have a successful business.
Now a quick search of the net will bring up thousands of affiliate opportunities and companies willing to offer you the job of promoting their service or product and they require little more than you email and user name to get started. They do not really have a lot to loose by employing you to advertise their service as they only pay you for result so no sign ups then no payments, the only real sack able offence in their eyes is spamming
However you do have plenty to loose so consider yourself to be your first employee of your business.
What I am asking is would you employ you?
At this point of time, I’m like a doubting Thomas about the productiveness of this report.
It gave pleasure to those who were on the lookout of . But few were unfortunate.
You would be the perfect expert to give fair views on the article. Just understand all the words to get the importance of this report.
Do you have what it takes as an employee to make your business successful?
Now would be a good time to sit down and think of the questions that you would ask an interviewee before you were to offer them a job.
Here are 5 simple questions I asked myself before I committed to starting my own online business.
- What makes you want to start your own business?
- How many hours a week can you offer the business and do you have a quiet place to run your business from?
- What specific skill can you bring to this business?
- Where do you see yourself in 12 months time and what are your goals?
- How much do you want to earn a month?
As I said these are the simple questions I asked myself, most of us have had a job interview or two so you can think about the questions you were asked and how they may relate to running your own business online.
You can also take this process one step further because as you start to succeed with your online business you will start to build your own down line. You need to look on these people as your employees and consider do they have what it takes to help you grow a winning company.
A great way to use this is when you send out your welcome email include a few simple interview questions. This will help you in 2 ways
Okay. Stop being whippersnapper, scan it efficiently to get exemplary literature which can improve your intellectual capabilities. Just keep on reading, there are other details to follow.
Firstly: You will learn more about you sign up and what their intentions are, this will help make any follow up more personal.
Secondly: Will they make a good employee? If so then spend some time on them and with your help they will grow their business which will in turn grow yours.
So would you employ yourself?
If you have decided the answer is yes then its time to start your business and start taking on your first employees.
Just one last thought for you:
By working faithfully eight hours a day, you may eventually get to be a boss and work twelve hours a day. Robert Frost
